School Counselors help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.

- Provide brief solution-focused individual and small group counseling based on student needs
- Work with students to develop skills such as organization, time management, and effective study habits
- Help students set realistic academic and career goals and develop a plan to achieve them
- Develop strategies with teachers, administrators, and guardians to help students succeed
- Teach classroom lessons on social/emotional, career, and academic topics
- Refer students and parents to resources outside the school for additional support
